I have a Japanese Windows XP OS, on which I would like to
install and run the English version of Microsoft IIS. Is
there any way I can do that?

Thanks,

Ani.

If you have XP Pro version, it should be on the CD already. Install via
"Windows Components" in the control panel app to install applicatoins.
That will surely be the Japanse version. I'm not sure. Never saw the
Japanese versoin of XP.

If it is not what you want, then you'll need the English XP. For that
you need to buy and isntall another version of XP.

If you have XP Home, then IIS won't work on the machine.

I'm wondering why you need a special language version of IIS. I would
think that even with the one that comes with Japanese XP Pro, you could
publish English web pages. This just a guess since I've never tried
this, but have you?

Why do you want the english version of IIS? You can post web content in any
language you want irrespective of the actual server's language version.
