iis snap-in

cannot launch iis-snap-in (inetmgr.exe )

any way to correct this ??

That's not enough information to help with. What happens when you try (exact error message if any)? Are you running XP Pro or XP Home (IIS is not supported on Home)?

there is no error message..
it does nothing

iis snap in was being launched from shortcut..
I believe problem is resolved...seems to be associated with installing
update 821557

a day and several recoveries later, i'm back to working state
