IIS server vs. Firewall

I have installed my IIS server and also activated my
firewall. The problem is nobody can view my website
while the firewall is running. I am hoping this is an
easy fix. Can somebody walk me though this?

Hi, Paul -

On the firewall, open TCP port 80 (and also port 443 if
you're doing secure http - and port 21 if you're running
an FTP server).

Allan is right on with the ports. To open ports in the Internet Connection
Firewall built in to XP, see
http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/ports.asp . That article will
also help you figure out which ports you need to open to get other things to
work too.
