I have Windows XP Professional, but not the CD. The friend I bought the system from failed to give it to and the last I heard he was in Alaska somewhere. I am trying to set up a shopping cart that requires it. I know XP Professional has the component, but then wants you to insert the CD to load it. I can't do that. Before I go off on a tangent and screw something up, I was wondering if there was a solution to bypass this problem. A download somewhere? Is it possible for me to download NT that has the 98 version of PWS on it? Will it work with XP Professional?

Your help and advice would be much appreciated and thank you in advance for a response.

No. There are no legitimate download sources for what you are looking for.

Alaska is not that far away from anywhere, these days. Contact your
friend to mail you the CD.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

When an installation asks for the Windows CD, try pointing to it C:\I386
folder. If you have that folder properly installed, the necessary
components should be there.
