IIS Installation

I have an XP Professional SP2 PC and I am trying to install IIS . The
problem is when, after selecting IIS from the windows components window it is
asking for the XP Professional SP2 CD, but that is the CD that I currently
have in the CD-rom drive.

Is there a solution to this problem or is there a place on the web that I
can download IIS?

Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider On
the Edit menu, click Permissions . Click the registry key for the user that
is currently logged on and ensure that Read and Full Control are both set to
Allow . Click the Advanced button, ensure that the user that is currently
logged on is selected, that Full Control is listed in the Permissions
column, and that This Key and Subkeys is listed in the Apply to column.
Click to select the Replace permission entries on all child objects with
entries shown here that apply to child objects check box. Click Apply , and
then click Yes when you receive a prompt to continue. Click OK , and then
click OK again

Ok, I went through the steps that you mentioned below, verifing that the user
has full control over the current key and all subkey. I then tried to install
IIS again but I still recieved the same message asking for the XP
Professional SP 2 CD, but that CD is in the CD-rom drive.
 
I would look in the registry for some difference in drive letter for 'source
path' The install may have use Z: or whatever. diskmgmt.msc could change to
that letter for you.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\...
..Windows\Current Version\Setup: Service Source Path
..Windows\Current Version\Setup: Source Path
..WindowsNT\Current Version - Source Path

Sometimes when that happens the search location has been bungled. Use
the Browse or whatever it's called and point to that drive. That should
find it.

I am not sure what to do? I looked in the and found

ServicePackSourcePath - C:\windows\ServicePackFiles
SourcePath - E:\

I don't know what you are suggesting.
