Well, via the XP (Pro only I think) CD it's like this: control panel ->
software -> add/remove windows components
The only way without the XP Pro CD that I know of is via the Required
Components CD that ships with Visual Studio .NET, this one got IIS on it.

Cheers

Hi ray,

If your question is how to install IIS on your XP, then follow this...
Start --> Control Panel --> Add / Remove Programs --> Add / Remove Windows
Components --> (Check) Internet Information Services option and click next.
You will be asked to insert XP CD.

If your question was where "else" can i get the install files for IIS, then
i dont think its available as_a_stand_alone. I dont think Win 2000 setup disk
will help you either.

You can use Webmatrix application which comes with its own web server. This
is in case you dont have access t IIS and want to develop / run ASP.NET.

Need any help, do post a msg back.

Happy Coding
