Hi all,

When I entering the following command (in command
prompt): "iisreset" I recieve the following message: "No
such interface supported"
I checked, just to be sure, that I have the iisreset.exe
file in my WINNT\system32 folder and it exists.

I will appreciate any suggestions you have,

TIA,
Uri

Yes, I do ...
But I have notice that I don't have intspvc.exe file
because my norton antivirus found a virus in it and
automatically removed the file. I am not familiar with
this file - is it important one ? and if it is, when may
be this is a cause of my problem ?

Thanks,
Uri

only one hit from google on that file... seems like it was a worm.

I would suggest backing up your metabase, and then removing IIS and
reinstalling it. Then, import the metabase back into the system to get your
sites and thier configs back.

I just ran into this message last night while trying to view the evenlogs on
a problematic installation of 2000.

I ended up formatting and re-installing the whole system. There was nothing
else i could do.
