| I need an advice on ths one.
|
| I have installed Windows 2000 and Exchange 2003 on the
| same box. I know i cannot have public ip adress on this
| machine, that means i need to have another DNS serve on
| different box. My question are:
| 1. If i have IIS on this server how can i point to this
| server from DNS server?
| 2. What is the best practice to host IIS? is that ok on DC?
| 3.If I put IIS on deifferent server how can i use OWA from
| outside network?
|
| Thank you in advance
|
The recommended solution should use this:
1. ISA server as a Firewall to connect your internal network to the
internet,
2. Set up IIS in a dedicated server;
3. Publish your web server using ISA;
4. You will have to have a public IP address, so you can register it using
your company name and a public DNS can resolve yu=our address to anyone who
wanna access your website.
