Im trying to use igoogle and if i click the igoogle link, the page starts to
load, and then
internet explorer abruptly shuts down. I have to clear the google cookies to
even use ie again.
it will start and display the page, then exit.

tried clearing all cookies, deleted all temp files, ran adaware, avg &
stinger for good measure.
Have java 6. Im lost. anybody have any idea ?

Win XP Pro, SP2 all updates

Does the behavior persist if you disable all Add-ons via Tools > Manage
Add-ons?

Is Google Toolbar and/or Google Desktop installed?

PA,

Yes, I have tried disabling all add ons.
I have no Google Toolbar or Desktop Installed.

this is a clean XP Pro install from a couple weeks ago.
I only installed a few programs. Ad-Aware, AVG, WinZip, Adobe, MS_Office '03

Im going to try some restore points for the heck of it.
Did alot of searching and havent found anything regarding this problem..

Your symptom seems to have been seen before or at least anticipated: <eg>

<quote>
RESET YOUR IGOOGLE PAGE<br/>
Resetting your iGoogle page will revert it back to its default configuration,
removing any content you've added. Resetting your page is especially handy
if you're having trouble removing a particular gadget, or if a gadget is causing
your browser to spontaneously shut down as soon as you visit iGoogle.

Good luck
