no worries

i didnt read your title properly.. but does this happen to EVERY game u play?!!! i hope it does not!

and have you been to the games website to see if your graphics card is supported to run this game? if it happens to EVERY game or even when performing a HEAVY GRAPHICAL task then it is unlikely to be just a incompatability problem.

yes thats good to download a patch very wise. but if it dont work it may be down to a problem of matching between your graphics card and the game itself!

let u know what happpened either way and if u need any additional help u know where to mail me

safe all the best

I don't normally post replies that I know are definitely unhelpful, but i just had to say this:

IGI 2 is a really shite game and you are being favoured by the Gods by not being able to start it.

Having said that, have you got a registry file that you need to run ? I assume that you have a legitimate game CD and not a rip?

Also, have you checked your system spoec against the minimum spec needed to run the game?

i know thyese are basic questions but we need a little more info if we are to help m8:spin:

I don't have an original Cd, but that doesnt matter

Pentium 4 2.00 Ghz
256 Ram
Ati Radeon 7000 64 mb TV-out
CD/DVD SAMSUNG
Processor: GenuineIntel Family 15 Model 2 2.0
Bios: Phoenix Technologies 07/22/02
Math Support: on chip

What is that thing you said about registry file. Explain me that

If you don't have the original CD, are you running from a copy or are you using a NO-CD crack?

I am running from a copy, but untill now every game that I played was a copy. And they all worked.

Er...well I'm sure I speak for all of pcreview.co.uk when i say that copying game CD's is not to be condoned.

However, I'll assume that you are playing from a backup copy that you made yourself from a CD that you purchased from an authorised retail outlet. OK?

If that's the case, it doesn't matter how many copies you have run successfully before...it doesn't mean they will all be ok. I would guess that the problem lies with this particular copy. It may have been made on some poor quality or faulty blank CD, or the original may have had some protection etc, but if your system is running other games fine, than the Cd is the problem.
