delete starting of svchost.exe file,
reboot your computer,
delete file svchost.exe in windows directory.

This showed up on my ISP page. Does anyone know how to do this?

no and dont try it. There are several critical processes under that same
name, you dont want to delete.
If you want to know if your HOSTS file has been hacked, why not view it
yourself?
Goto c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (no extention on this file)

Open the file with notepad. See any changes?
If so, and anyways, keep your firewall and AV current. Also get an
ant-spyware program like Spybot Search and Destroy.

You do *not* want to do that. I simply disabled RPCss, which is one function
of
svhost.exe, to try and stop a nuisance I couldn't identify precicely. That one
function
controls about a quarter of what XP does. You, like me, would be promptly
reinstalling
XP.
