If you make a partition, how do you know it is at the end of the drive?

Greetings,

I want to partition my 300 gig C: drive into two.

The first to be 200 gig, and the other being 100 gig.

But how do I put it at the end of the drive? This 100 gig partition will not be accessed much because it will store my back-up stuff before I put it on a DVD.

Thanks

I should explain, I have two drives.

1. C: 300 gig.
2. D: 100 gig.

Maybe I should swap C: and D:

But I will be using the 1/3 of the C: drive for my Ghost of my C: drive and D: drive is my data storage. The D: drive will be getting back-up to a DVDs.

I have my swap/pagefile in the first sector of the second drive.

Thanks.

Theres not much point in keeping the Ghost Image of C on C as if C fails so does your image
Make 100gb primary & 300gb slave, dont bother partitioning C
Its debateable whether theres any advantage in putting swap on other than sys drive.
