Hi, Ask for instruction,

If there are more than one inf file for one device, Which one should be
imported. or every one should be imported.
There are VIAComp.inf, VIAUDIOS.inf, VIAuOEM1.inf, VIAuOEM2.inf for the
audio card.

Please advise! Thanks

I used the ViaComp.inf. You can import all of them, but the critical item is
to make sure that the PnP resource in one component matches what is missing
from the TAP import. The import log file will list the missing driver and
PnP ID.

cheqinsy,

It doesn't really hurt to import all INF files (if you use the same CD session it will save you lots of time on importing due to
caching)
When you import all the result SLDs in to your database you will get a set of components that might be required to support the
platform. You certainly know more about the target specs but you can start by including all the components you got from those INFs.
