Help please.
I have a column of calculated numbers in one worksheet transfered from
another worksheet. They range from <100 and up. I am using a formula in the
next column over to set the sig. fig. in the transferred column to 3.
However, when it is applied to a number that has the < sign in front, I get
#VALUE!. I understand that, but what I need to do is import either the
number that has been converted to the proper sig. fig. or the < number as
text into another program as a CSV file. So, I'd like to use some kind of
function that will allow me to compare the results of the sig. fig function
column and choose either the corrected number or the < number bsed on whether
or not it says #VALUE!. I tried copying the columns and special pasting them
as a value and then doing the comparrison on those copied columns, but that
didn't work. Can anyone offer assistance? Thank-you.
