I am wanting to create a number of 'if statements' in my details section of a
report to change the colour of individual cells. Where could I locate some
simple code, including colour numbers

Cheers

On my website (www.rogersaccesslibrary.com), there is a small Access sample
database called "Greenbar2k.mdb", which demonstrates how to make a green and
white altenating report. This may not be exactly that you are looking to
do, but it *does* illustrate changing control background colors in the
Detail section of a report.

As for the color numbers: the easiest way to find them is go to the Design
View of a report or form and select a control and go to the Background
property. Use the Builder button to select a predefined color or create
your own custom color. When you click OK, the actual number will be
displayed in the property.
