If I have Office 2000, can I run Front Page 2003? Or do I have to upgrade
Office to 2003?

Yes, you can install FP2003, however you must be running Windows XP (Home or Pro) or Windows 2000
Pro, SP3 or higher.

MS really does not recommend running different versions of Office/Office Apps on the same machine.

You can run Frontpage even if you don't have MS Office - it is *not*
dependent on having MS Office (of any version) I don't have MS Office - I
have Frontpage 2003 which is a standalone product (and always has been)
although it *is* part of the "Office" (as in the 'family' of Microsoft
applications) but not part of the MS Office suite product specifically.

You don't suppose they might have any selfish reasons, do you? Thanks for
your answer. I run Windows 2000 Pro at home and Windows XP Pro at work.

The reason because certain dlls are shared between office applications and are automatically updated
when a newer version is installed.

A very commom error was when Access 97 was installed after a
later version of Office was installed. As long as they are
installed in order of release dates, you can have full
versions of all office applications installed concurrently
except for Outlook
