I WANT TO FILL-IN THE CONTENTS OF A COLUMN (e.g. COLUMN A) AUTOMATICALLY BASED ON THE CONTENTS OF OTHER COLNMNS, USING THE IF FUNCTION.
EXAMPLE: IF COLUMN B CONTAINS TEXT=CANCEL OR CANCELLED, THEN COLUMN A AUTOMATICALLY CONTAINS TEXT=INACTIVE. IF COLUMN B CONTAINS TEXT=YES OR NO, THEN COLUMN A AUTOMATICALLY CONTAINS TEXT=ACTIVE. IF COLUMN B IS BLANK, THEN COLUMN A AUTOMATICALLY CONTAINS TEXT=ACTUAL.
AFTER CONDITIONS CONCERNING COLUMN B HAVE BEEN MET, I WANT TO PROCEDE WITH SIMILAR CONDITIONS REGARDING COLUMN C.
HOW COULD I ACHIEVE THAT???
