IF function ??

How do I write the IF Function (or some other function)
for the following (xl 2000)...

I want C5 to represent a number from C4;
- if C4 is less than 3000 then 3000 is represented in C5
- if C4 is btwn 3000 and 9000 I want that number
represented in C5
- if C4 is greater than 9000 then 9000 is in C5

ie... if C4 is 2500 then C5 will be 3000
if C4 is 6200 then C5 is 6200
if C4 is 12000 then C5 is 9000

=IF(C4<3000,3000,IF(AND(C4>=3000,C4<=9000),C4,9000))
