A message indicating that iexplorer.exe has generated errors, and has to be
closed
is appearing frecuently...

Any idea of what to do?

[Re]install latest service pack, but right before you do, close ALL
programs, and also check the process list in the task manager and kill any
instances of iexplore.exe that are lingering, should there be any. It also
wouldn't hurt to start the service pack install, kill the explorer.exe
process, and then click Next to start the SP install.

Ray, "kill the explorer.exe process." Wouldn't that just destroy the shell?
There woulldn't be anything to "click Next" on?

Yes, it would kill the shell, but the sp application would continue to run.
You can kill explorer.exe any time you want and still run all your
applications.

Well I am assuming if the shell is destroyed then the "form" which is where
the "Next" will appear will also be gone. Let me know if that is not the
case. Normally when the shell disappears the entire desktop and all that it
contains disappears and may or may not start again (explorer.exe) depending
on some settings. Thanks.
