Hi.
When I try to access some pages explorer cant show them. It says something
(translated from Swedish) page can not be wiewed and there is a link that
says identify networksettings. At the bottom it says the server can't be
found or a DNS error has occured. If I use another computer at the same time
there is no problem accessing the pages. Anyone know what could be the
problem please help me.
Im running XP pro.
Thanks in advance

Well more questions than answers. Are both computers connecting the same
way? (dial in, VPN, broadband) Both running same software configuration?

The first place I would look, because you have one that is working and one
that is not would be in the Internet Explorer Tools>>Internet
Options>>Connections and compare what the settings are in the one that works
compared to the one that doesn't.
Then move to the Security tab and do the same thing .... proceed through all
the tabs comparing the settings on the computer that work to those that do
not.

If you are using a LAN check the LAN settings under the Connections tab.

Hope this helps.

Im having this same exact issue .. i have a desktop with cable modom access
also a laptop we are both connected through a router. My laptop can log into
gamesville but my desktop cannot at the same time I get the same DNS error
page is unavailable stuff.. ive tried everything but have yet to get both
computers to log into the site at same time. I want to play games with my
girlfriend but I cant because they wont both log in.

wish someone could help

Hi fnova.
Both computers are connected to the same router and the security settings
are the same as far as I can see, one computer is running a fresh install of
xp pro sp1(the one with problems) the otherone a laptop running win95. I was
able to access the page once on the desktop computer without doing anything.

Are u running PG2 or something like it, in my case it was PG2 that blocked
access to some pages.
