All this tells us is that Internet Explorer is crashing. It doesn't tell
us why and we have no information about your computer or your Internet
connection.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

If you want more help after you've answered the two troubleshooting
questions, refer to this link for the details you should include in
your next post in order to get focused answers:

I can't help you with Skype, but you might check on their tech support
site to see if there are any known issues with IE. From where did you
get the codecs? There are some really nasty sites out there offering
codec downloads that put bad malware on your machine.

I would go through the malware removal steps in the link I already gave
you. If the machine is really clean and that doesn't solve the problem,
then do a System Restore to when everything worked. Then install one
thing at a time and test.
