iexplore.exe- application error

I get the message "The instruction at '0x01352db8'
referenced memory at '0x0146fb20'. The memory could not
be 'read'" Click okay to terminate the program. I have
to click upwards of 100 times to get the error message to
go away and close out explorer. The only fix that I have
been given by Sony is to delete my XP sign on profile and
create another. That is not satifactory to me. Can
anybody give me a better fix?

Scan the system with Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) and eliminate the
malware products causing the abnormal program termination.

If the problem continues, reinstall Internet Explorer using this method (for
