Ieplorer keeps running in background???

I have updated iexplorer but when ever i go online and visit a site. and
leave and close ieplorer and it I hit Ctrl,Alt,Delete way at the bottom of
the list ieplorer is there running in the course of the day I will have
atleast 14 to 16 of them listed and no more room. I have to manual end task
to close them? Can anyone tell me whats wrong????

Have you scanned for viruses, malware, etc?

serverguy--thanks for the help... norton scans every day...and my norton is
update also..I even tried uninstalling iexplorer and reinstalling it but it
does the same thing..

Ive got the same problem. Eventually I can't get into the
internet. Have you found any solutions?
