ieexplorer runtime error in c++

i get the message that runtime has caused the program to terminate in an unusual way whenever i try to start a game called horizons, which uses a webbased launcher
is there anyway to fix this???

The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6.
