I
IEEE 1284.4 Printing support
Hi,
Can someone please figure out or find a solution to this problem, which i
have realised one too many people are facing. When connecting All-in-one 3055
printer to Windows XP, it recognizes the printer and tries to install it but
cannot find DOT support or IEEE 1284.4 support and it fails to install the
printer properly. I have gone through many rounds fo HP support with the
sending me updated versions of the printer drivers and to no affect. It
doesn't seem to be an HP driver issue but a Windows XP issue as I am able to
install in on other Windows XP machines but not on this particular machine,
where I am running XP on Virtual Machine. I have a Macbook.
So I can neither install it with HP CDs nor does it recognize the printer
when connected to USB port and isntall it. The thing is that it is working
for sure when I connect it on the MAC side without running Virtual machine
and I am able to print! So PLEASE SOMEONE at MICROSOFT solve this issue!!!!
Thanks
Kavitha.
