Tune Up Utilities cannot complete a scan because this file is missing. This
problem occurred after the latest Windows updates on June 13, 2006. Scans
with two different anti virus programs find no viruses. Where can I download
this file? Thanks. Donna

The file 'iecontrol.bpl' is part of Tuneup Utilities. It is installed when
Tuneup is installed. Just re-install or if it has a repar option, chose
repair.

Thanks, Larry. I downloaded this program off of the internet so I can't
reinstall. I have the '04 version and am not opposed to buying the '06
version, but would hate to buy TuneUp and have the same problem. I read on
the Yahoo site that someone was using the '06 version and had the
IEControl.bpl issue. Think it's safe to just take the '04 version off of my
computer and purchase the '06 version? I really appreciate your help. I'm
stumped!

I have the try it version that I downloaded about a week ago and have the
iecontrol.bpl after the install.
I could e-mail it to you ... and you can try it ... but I'm sure the
versions are different.
The file is really small. 18kb.

You are a genius! I installed the trial version of '06 and my 1-click
maintenance worked perfectly!!!! I guess I'll be buying the updated version
in 30 days. Larry, I really appreciate your help.

Think you posted this enough times? ;-) *.bpl files are Borland Packed
Library Files. Since you didn't provide *why* you want to know this, I
suggest that you make sure your computer is virus/malware-free:

If you don't feel that answer is applicable to your issue, then please do
post back after looking at this page which will show you what details you
need to include in a newsgroup post so as to get focused help:
