Internet Explorer 9 has been released today, which brings about some major changes to the Microsoft web browser. Apart from a different look (which increases page area), the following changes are also included:

• Hardware accelerated graphics and text
• Pinned sites
• Add-on Performance Advisor
• Chakra, the new Javascript engine
• HTML5 Support
• Tracking Protection
• Tear-off tabs and Windows Aero snap
