IE8 Setup Wizard

Does anyone know how to stop the setup wizard from popping up? I haven't
used it because I'm not sure what settings I should choose so I thought it
best not to touch it. Alternatively, if anyone could suggest the settings I
should pick that are not too intrusive on my web browsing then that would
kill two birds with one stone.

That would be all right with you, Si, but do you have an idea what that kill
of your second bird curtails?
Depending on how long you have been using a computer, you ought to be
familiar with the safe settings. If you are "new", use mainly common sense
and follow recommendations whenever given. If you're fortunate, someone here
will take the time and supply details for you.
There are considerations before and when installing IE 8, but I definitely
would install it.
