This was originally posted on microsoft.public.internetexplorer, but I was
told to put it here instead, so here goes
This is a pretty serious problem that I've noticed in IE7Beta2 (but only in
Vista, not in XP)
Basically, there is about a 20% chance that any given page will refuse to be
loaded by IE7. It seems random. For example, www.netbeans.org simply does
not want to load fully. I know the server connection is made, because the
title bar is correctly updated, and if I go to "View Source", I can see the
first five or so lines of the source, but it just hangs there indefinitely.
Other sites, for example the HydraIRC homepage, will load about halfway
through, and then the second half of the page will just be garbled HTML.
I know this isn't a network problem because Firefox handles these pages just
fine, in the same OS at the same time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a very annoying problem having
to load up Firefox for one fifth of the time because IE refuses to do it.
Thanks!
