Hi,
I am pretty much a neohpyte to XPe so please be gentle...
We are planning on rolling out HP T5720 terminals running XPe. All
applications will be delivered via Citrix bar the use of Internet Explorer
for an internal training application which for various reasons needs to be
run locally. To ensure forward compatibility I'd like to rollout the clients
(about 400 of them) with IE7 installed so there is no messing about later.
Is there an easy way of doing this yet? All the articles I can find on the
internet seem to entail completely rebuilding the OS image with software that
can only be downloaded from the Windows embedded extranet, which I don't have
access to.
Also how do people go about hotfixing a stock of XPe based machines?
TIA
Richard
