I'm supposed to be polite when using "Newsgroups". Well, ever since I
started using "Newsgroups" you people who answer my questions act as if I'm
an instructor from Microsoft, which I am not. My logic and Microsofts
logic are almost opposite. So when you tell me to post my question
"here".......I have no idea what you mean or how to do what you are saying.
How do I get from your string of letters to the place where I can post my
question???? And another thing....are you saying you don't know the
answer to my question.....or are you saying I'm stupid for asking my
question on the wrong "Newsgroup"......which I got to by mistake......since
I don't know how to get to specific "Newsgroup" sites.

I sure would appreciate an answer from someone who can teach me in plain
English as opposed to Superior TECHY Language.

How did you get to this newsgroup?

No need to be polite , but you might get *plonked* .People who write
here are ordinary people who use computers .Some know more than others
,but we all try to help each other .
Usually the first thing to do : Google the query ; and then try one of
the newsgroups relevant to the query .

You're using Outlook Express to post to microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics on
the server msnews.microsoft.com. You could get a list of newsgroups on this
server by clicking the Newsgroups button on the toolbar or by clicking Tools
| Newsgroups or by right clicking the server in the folder list and
selections newsgroups.

This link will take you to the best newsgroup for IE7 questions and
problems:

When you post give your Windows version, IE version and the complete text of
any error messages, plus a description of your problem.

The page looks perfectly fine to me on IE 7.

Which particular letters/words/paragraphs are you referring to specifically?

I cannot see what you're referring to on the page when I view it in IE7.

It might be a intentional feature of the page design?

But adjusting your monitor settings could possibly help?

Then you need to set your monitor settings, since the text is definitely set
to grey. Not all text, just the "normal" text.

Although it is not possible to view the source of that page using "View
Source" I managed to get the HTML and paste the HTML into FrontPage.
FrontPage shows the text color as grey.

So I suggest letting this thread end and hopefully David of IC has already
taken the suggestion to get help elsewhere.

Are you replying to me or to the original poster? I have no trouble viewing
the page the OP is asking about.

I am responding to you because you don't see a problem but there is a
problem. I have verified that there is a problem with the design of the
page.

Because MS has a new design team that thinks that's a good way to design a
page. I don't understand what's good about it.

I agree.
