I click on new tab, crash, right click to open in new tab..crash, try
new tab from toolbar, crash...open email attachment..browser
crashes....it's nearly unuseable. Anyone else seeing this and have a
fix?

Just disappears, no warnings or error messages....just *poof* gone....

WP Pro sp 2, fully updated...phishing enabled with Norton Anti-virus.
Turning these on or off doesn't help. Yikes....what a mess.

Try removing all the add-ins or starting it without them entirely. I'd point
you to Sandi's link but... Well... This is an IE6 specific group and I've
forgotten it?

*pokes around in history*

Hmm...

Thanks, I will look those links over. I think I 've seen one of them,
but I haven't tried the uninstall option.

I have disabled add-ons and didn't get a resolution. Crossing fingers
I guess...

I'm also experiencing the same tab troubles in Internet Explorer 7 as
(e-mail address removed). I can't think of anything that could cause this
trouble, and I've tried turning AVG Free on and off to no avail. I seem to be
able to open a new tab, but it only stays open for less than 1 second.

What happens if you right click the IE icon on the desktop and choose
Without Add-ons?

Still the same problem I'm afraid. I haven't downloaded any add-ons anyway,
and I've added around 5 extra search providers.
