Just recently IE7 has developed two weird problems:
1) I use my D: drive as a 'scratch' disk for saving stuff temporarily
but all of a sudden IE started crashing when I try to save to it. I
reformatted D: and reloaded it but it was still the same.
2) At about the same time, IE7 stopped marking links that I'd visited
as 'read'.
The other day I uninstalled it and reinstalled from the MS web site
but it's still the same.
I've been through all the settings and can't find anything wrong. The
only thing left to try is to uninstall and go through the registry and
delete all the entries (I suspect they all stayed after the uninstall
as all my Favourites, History, etc. were still there) but for obvious
reasons I'd rather not
Any ideas?
Windows MCE2005 fully up to date, 2GB memory, P4 2.8HT, 2+ terabytes
of disk space, etc.
