IE7 seems to be innocent!

I've found this forum on the net, where they say that the guilty seems to be
a... team of 3 tools (IE7 + Sony Picture Package + WinDVD Crfeator).
Give a look here:

I have a Sony videocam and installed Sony Picture Package when I
bought the camera. I've never used the program, and can't - for the
life of me - figure out why anyone would. There are better ways to do
anything offered by that program.

I've never uninstalled it, though, because of a lurking fear that
there's something implanted in my hard drive by that program that
allows me to work with the results of my Sony camera even if in other
programs.

I note that Picture Package allows me to burn a CD direct by capture.
Why would anyone do that?

I have none of those except IE7 of course and the problems continue.

Today in the morning a colleague of mine was showing his new notebook, after
he had finished to update WinXp.
Ok, I say, since your notebook is new and in it you have ONLY Microsoft
software, please, let me see if MovieMaker runs perfectly allthought you
have installed IE7.
Well..... We did every kind of test and EVERY TIME the MovieMaker worked
perfectly!

Few minutes ago I first uninstalled the Sony Package. But MovieMaker didn't
run. So I uninstalled the WinDVD Creator too and.... voila'!!! Now my
MovieMaker works verrrrry well again!!!! :o)
