I've just installed IE7 and all went well, or so I thought. Whenever I try to
access a web-site by pullin down the history list and clicking on one all I
get is: Internet Explorer has encountered a proble and has to close.
Sorry...........................
I've sent the error report to MS but I don't hold out much hope.
Have I done something wrong (daft).

Try deleteing the browsing history and temp Internet files from the Tools> Delete Browsing History
menu. You may have a corrupt index file and this should clear it out.

Try asking in the correct group - what your Q has got to do with hardware, I
don't know.
If you must install a prog just out of 'betaware nappies', you should make a
note of where to get help.

Try the below - I see you are using that slow/archaic discussion group so I
have included that link.

IE7 questions should be posted to the Internet Explorer General newsgroup as
below -

In your Newsreader:

If you need to use the Web Interface -
