you provided?
I have # 7.0.5700.6: is that the latest?

I replaced RC1 with 7.05730 11IS from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx This morning.

I note that automatic search for proxy server is enabled by default.
Disabling this speeded up my broadband initial connection considerably.
