I posted a problem with IE6 a long time ago regarding script errors
occurring when using the help menu function. This only happened after I
installed SP2, and I was never able to fix the problem. It wasn't serious
enough to warrant any drastic measures to fix, since I only used IE6 for
Windows updates and for the few rare instances where Firefox (my default web
browser) wouldn't display a page properly.
I installed IE7 today as part of a Windows update and everything seems to
have worked out smoothly (knock on wood). I'm happy to report that my
problem with script errors appearing in the help menu has now cleared up
too, finally.
I had a quick look at the new IE7, and to be honest, I still prefer using
Firefox. IMHO, the Firefox screen is much more intuitive and user friendly.
