IE7 Does not allow streaming Video

IE7 installed automatically and when it did I could no longer see streaming
video from CNN, CBS, FOX.....also, I can not view CD video via IE7. I've
noted some potential "fixes" and tried them without success. At the CBS site,
it says that I have no media player installed when I have WMP 11.0 installed.
Need help. Thanks, Roger

Please try the IE7 group. You might also tell them what "fixes" you
have tried.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
