IE7 Crashes when a Doughtier window is closed

When IE7 opens a new window on top of the browser window clicking on the X at
the top of the open window crashes IE7 totally.

What is the problem and what is the remedy please.

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
