The new IE7 has me a bit confused. When I try to click a link on a link in
my Yahoo home page to go to this web site, I get a response that it is a
forbidden web site. Although this happens with a number of web sites, here
is one example:

http://www.hpana.com/news.19640.html

This is true even with phishing turned off and content advisor disabled.
Hmm... So I try with Firefox and it still works so I know the web site is
valid. So then I cut and paste the URL from Firefox into IE7 and IE is
happy to go there.

So I don't understand why when I click a Yahoo home page link I get a
"Sorry, Forbidden" screen, but when I copy/paste the URL everything is fine.
Any wisdom out there?

Thanks...

Taking this a step further, I also copy/pasted the URL directly from the
link Properties on the failing home page into IE7 and it works. Even though
clicking on the link fails.

And if I Ctrl-Click on the original link, IE7 is happy to open the page in a
new tab. It just refuses to open the page with a normal link click.

This has got to be an IE7 bug. It was just downloaded yesterday and the
Help screen says it's version 7.0.5730.11
