Installed IE7 beta, (not over keen on it compared to Firefox 1.5 BTW) but
it's changed all the fonts in both IE and OE. Doesn't seem to be a way of
changing them back to the original (if I knew what the original fonts in IE6
were!)
Any one got any info on this?

I have the same situation and like you don't like the font changes.
Have not found out how to return to old fonts without uninstalling the
beta.

After playing with it for a few hours (and really NOT liking the new fonts
in OE) I un-installed it and have gone back to Firefox 1.5 for now - a much
better product IMHO!

The news fonts are easy to read

Vista is introducing 6 new fonts. I wonder if they come with IE7?

For more about the new fonts, see

Are the new fonts in your font folder?

I've also uninstalled and gone back.

One of the other readers offered a link to a discussion on MS's "font
philosophy" Interestingly, I saw this " Basically, that means a story
will be easier to read because the letters and words won't be as soft
and mushy looking."

Well these new fonts are just that - soft and mushy looking, as opposed
to the crisp fonts I've returned to. Looks like MS might have failed in
the mission.
