Oh, yay.

Another hurry up from MS that will fail to meet expectations - See Visual
Studio 2005.

I read the Release Notes and found this one interesting
a.. View Source--The view-source protocol no longer works in Internet
Explorer 7 Beta 2 Update.

How would one view the source without this?
Does one have to search the cache?

I just tried one (still using IE6)
C:\Documents and Settings\Trevor\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\detail.html
and it opened
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/tour/interface/detail.html
Open with .. wasn't available in this folder

But I could copy the html file to another folder and open it there with a
text editor

A bit convoluted, but I suppose it it works, then sobeit.

Does anyone else have any warnings on IE7 Beta or can someone recommend an
appropriate newsgroup?

Though IE 7 has a few things wrong (Esp. when in XP works much better in
vista I think)

Like.....

1. Cleartype is enabled in Outlook Express (upon install) and can't be
disabled. The install should either add a checkbox option to disable it
within Outlook Express, or it should just not enable it in the first place.

2. I noticed that I am unable to right click and sort my favorites by name.

3. Some pages are not displayed correctly. Font sizes are sometimes
smaller/bigger.
Some fonts reportedly do not show up at all.

4. Toolbar does not keep set size. I unlocked and resized it to display all
icons, and it gets shorter and a few disappear off the edge on the right.

5. Some of my add-ons installed on IE6 do not display their buttons anymore.

Other than these few things, I think it's coming along well. I'll like it,
once the bugs are worked out.

This is the short list.... Did I mention problems with dial-up
connections????

This is only a beta... trying to find the bugs (the infestation) and stomp
them one at a time till none are left.....Ugh maybe not "all".
