I Just installed IE7 today. Seems ok, but I'm having an
annoying problem I don't know how to fix. When I open a folder,
Explorer, or Control Panel, and open Favorites in the Menu Bar, and
click on a website to fire up IE7, a maximised instance, and a
minimised instance of the same webpage pops up. This never happened
with IE since the days of Win9x.
If I click on the IE7 icon, or start IE7 from the start menu,
only the maximised instance comes up like it should. I also find that
if I'm viewing a website in one instance of IE7, and try to open
another instance of IE7 buying using the Favorites Menu Bar, it
switches the first instance of IE7's webpage to the second instance of
IE7's webpage. This didn't happen on previous IE versions. I disabled
tabbed browsing as I don't like it, but it didn't help. How can I fix
this?
