I went to a web site that automatically Installed a new Toolbar in IE6 (
FreshBar ), It also changed my home page. I tried several spyware detection
programs and they did not find or fix the problem.
I did however find a program ( IEradicator 2001 ) that removed Internet
Explorer and the I reinstalled with IE6Setup, this did fix the toolbar
problem.
I am trying to find out how to make sure there is no other part of the
toolbar program loaded in the registry or system that would send information
while surfing the web.
