Is there a way to uninstall IE 6 from my computer and re-install it?

I have a OEM version of Win XP and do not see IE 6 listed on my add/remove screen in Control Panel...

Use Notepad to edit the sysoc.inf file in the Windows/Inf folder. Do a search and replace for the word "hide" (leave match case unticked), replacing hide with nothing. Save the file. You will be able to see all windows components in add / remove.

Thats add / remove windows components.
 
The Internet Explorer listing in the Add/Remove Windows Components
only allows the ability to remove the IE icons from the Start Menu and
the Desktop. It does not allow you to uninstall IE. There is no "uninstall"
option for IE in Windows XP....you can only reinstall or repair it in
accordance with the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article:
