Can you predict ,what should be the major specifications of next generation
of internet explorer?

Hi,

I'm not sure if a concrete answer is possible as the
specifications of unreleased products are fluid and generally
considered confidential (and outside the public domain). However,
you may find the following public microsoft statements with
respects to the upcoming Internet Explorer 7 of use:

Internet Explorer 7 on the horizon

PressPass: What’s next for Internet Explorer?

Nash: We’re very excited to announce at the RSA Conference today
that this summer we’ll release a beta of Internet Explorer 7.0
for Windows XP with Service Pack 2, which will have even more
enhancements to security and privacy protections. These
enhancements align very closely with the three core tenets of
Microsoft’s security approach that I mentioned earlier. Internet
Explorer 7.0 will be the most secure browser we’ve ever released,
building on and surpassing the success of the SP2-enhanced
Internet Explorer 6.0. We don’t plan to ship it until it meets
our quality bar, which we’ve set pretty high.

A point to mention is that specifications of unreleased products
(and, in some cases, released products) are usually considered
*very* confidential. So while there may be lots of speculation,
people who are in the know are traditionally very tight lipped
about what they can or can not say...

Hope this is of some use,

Best regards,

Altrus
