IE6/XP Page Scrolling

After several months of solid usage, beginning a couple
days ago, every time I click on the vertical scroll bar
using IE6 in XP, the system skips one or more pages
before positioning a page to be viewed. Is this
happening to anyone else? Is there a "setting" that
controls the quantity of pages that are shifted up or
down when the scroll bar is selected?

Please advise.
