IE6 won't Close

This is aggravating...

IE6 won't close. I can't close it using the File menu or
the "X". And, when open and running it utilizes 100% of my
processor time. I've run the latest updates of Norton and
Adaware, defraged my drive and everything else I can think
of...
HELP....

I am encountering the same issue, fresh install of
windows xp with all updates, microsoft cant or wont
assist anyone with the garbage they produce unless you
agree to thier overpriced fees for telling you they dont
know anything. I hope to be able to find the answer to
this soon,,Linux looks better everyday doesnt it?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
