IE6 winnt 4.0 not displaying pages

We have a poweredge 2100 server running win nt 4.0 and ie 6. When I open IE
it just stays there and nothing comes up-not even the this page can not be
displayed message. We can ping outside servers so it is not an issue with
the internet connection. The OS and IE have been updated with all the
service packs. Any Suggestions??
