IE6 will only work if on a VPN

I have a user that while on her laptop cannot reach any web page unless she
is VPN'ed into our company's network. If she tries to use Mozilla it works
just fine without having to use a VPN.

I have checked the IE connection setting & she is not using a proxy. I have
also looked at the Security & Privacy tabs & don't see anything out of the
ordinary.

Any ideas?

Firewall? (E.g. log of its blocking?)
